\"\"<\/a>Harry Surden is\u00a0a professor of law\u00a0at the University of Colorado Law School<\/a>\u00a0in Boulder Colorado. \u00a0He is also the Associate Director of the Stanford Center for Legal Informatics (CodeX).<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0Prior to law, Professor Surden was a\u00a0software engineer. \u00a0His research thus focuses on\u00a0the intersection of technology and law.<\/p>

He teaches, researches and writes about artificial intelligence and law (including machine learning and deep learning and large language models),<\/a> \u00a0legal automation<\/a>, self-driving vehicles<\/a>,\u00a0\u00a0and information privacy <\/a>\u00a0law.\u00a0 He also teaches and writes about intellectual property law with a focus on patent law.<\/p>
